Dendrimers are nanoscopic hyperbranched macromolecules with well-predictable three-dimensional shapes and potential building blocks for the construction of organized functional materials. Various applications of dendrimers have been proposed using their unique structures as well as functional varieties. Recently, we have designed several dendritic materials with stimuli-responsibility against light, temperature, and pH. In this symposium, we are going to introduce several stimuli-responsive dendritic materials, and discuss about their application. |
