Ionic liquid based electrolyte for the secondary battery has high non-volatility compared with conventional liquid electrolyte. Futhermore, the ionic liquid-based electrolyte has various properties, such as high electrical conductivity, excellent flame resistance and extraordinary heat resistance. Therefore, the ionic liquid-based electrolyte enables the secondary battery to have better electrochemical stability. In this study, we prepared various electrolytes for sodium ion battery using imidazole compounds and sodium salt. Gel-type electrolyte was synthesized, mixed with polymer. The structural features of the electrolyte were analyzed using FT-IR. The thermal properties of the samples were analyzed using TGA analysis. The ionic conductivity of various electrolytes was measured using conductivity meter. |
