제목 Boron Nitride Nanofibers by the Electrospinning Technique
초록 In this paper, the boron nitride ceramic is investigated in a nanofibrous form. Boron nitride nanofibers have been prepared by easy and cheap tactics. Calcination of ploy(vinyl alcohol) electrospun nanofibers embedding boron nitride nanoparticles resulted in producing this interesting ceramic in nanofibrous form. The electrospun nanofiber mats have been prepared by electrospinning of a colloidal solution compounded of poly(vinyl alcohol) aqueous solution and boron nitride nanoparticles. Calcination of the obtained BN/PVA nanofiber mats in argon atmosphere at 1000 °C for 5 h resulted in producing boron nitride nanofibers. The prepared boron nitride nanofibers disclosed high band gap energy compared with the utilized nanoparticles.
