제목 Nanostructures inside blend particles of PS-b-PB diblock copolymer and PS homopolymer
초록 Block copolymers have received great attention due to its well defined phase separated domains of lamellae, cylinders and spheres according to the segment-segment interaction parameter (χ) and the degree of polymerization (N). Over the past few decades, a considerable number of studies have been conducted on block copolymer thin films as alternative non-lithographic tools for nano-scale patterning. Recently, the cylindrical pores in anodic alumina template were used as two-dimensional confined geometries to study block copolymer phase behavior and several studies was made on theoretical understanding of the behavior. But, very few attempts have been made at three-dimensional spherical confined geometries. In this presentation, we studied the effect of the spherical confined geometry on the phase behavior inside blend particles of polystyrene-block-polybutadiene diblock copolymer and polystyrene homopolymer prepared from emulsion droplets.
