제목 Detection of multi-analytes using shape-encoded hydrogel microparticles within the microfluidic devices
초록 This study describes a simple method for detection of multi-analyte using shape-encoded hydrogel microparticles within microfluidic devices. Conventional multi-analyte detection utilized different fluorescence, while current study makes use of different shapes rather than colors. The multi-microfluidic channel system is composed of two micro-chambers for crosslinking and one micro-chamber for reaction/detection of analytes. In-channel integrated microfliter was incorporated in the reaction chamber to retain and collect hydrogel microparticles, while allowing solutions to flow through the chamber. One of the crosslinking chambers were filled with PEG-DA hydrogel precursor solution with glucose oxidase (GOX) and horseradish peroxidase (HRP), and the other one with cholesterol oxidase (COX) and HRP. When the analyte solution composed of either glucose or cholesterol, with amplex red is flown into the microfluidic channel, fluorescence can be seen in only one shape of the particles.
