제목 Nanoassembly control of poly(ethylene glycol)-poly(L-alanine)-poly(trimethylene carbonate) triblock copolymer
초록 Poly(ethylene glycol)-poly(L-alanine)-poly(trimethylene carbonate) (PEG-PA-PTMC) triblock copolymer were synthesized by sequential ring-opening polymerization of NCA-L-alanine and Trimethylene carbnoate. The molecular weight of PTMC varied over 500, 850, and 1170 Daltons at a fixed molecular weight of PEG-PA of the 1000-625 Daltons. The polymers form nanoparticles in water which were characterized by 1H NMR spectroscopy, UV-Vis spectroscopy, dynamic light scattering, transmission electron microscopy, and circular dichroism spectra. The polymer nanoparticles have narrow size distribution of 100~200nm, and beta-sheet secondary structure of PA is preserved. Biomedical application of the nanoparticles were investigated as a macromolecular drug delivery system into cells.
