Self-assembly Feature of Brush-type Copolymers Composed of PS and PMMA |
초록 |
Brush-type copolymers composed of polystyrene (PS) and poly(methyl methacrylate) (PMMA) was synthesized by atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) and click reaction. The synthetic route will be discussed carefully with the corresponding monomers in terms of their reactivity. Thin film morphology will be compared with linear-type BCP system, more than likely because there would be the additional entropic gain due to special structure of brush copolymers and similar surface energy between the PS and PMMA blocks. The nanostructure development and ordering of geometry-dependent block copolymers (BCPs) will be analyzed with atomic force microscopy (AFM). |
