제목 Effect of carbon surface functionalization on synthesis and characterization of Pt nanoparticles on reduced graphene oxide electrodes
초록 In this paper, we utilize dopamine to modify graphene oxides, which serve as the support of Pt nanoparticles for direct methanol fuel cell. Also, dopamine has been found to be able to self-polymerize under alkaline conditions and the generated polydopamine can strongly adhere to a variety of organic or inorganic materials.
Platinum-polydopamine modified on reduced graphene oxides (Pt-PDA-RGO) was prepared via a new chemical reduction process in solution. These properties of dopamine provide higher current as well as outstanding stability. In conclusion, Pt-PDA-RGO composite have high electrochemical performance in comparison with existing Pt-RGO composite. In addition, the remarkable property of Pt-PDA-RGO composite was demonstrated by CV, FE-SEM, TEM, XPS and FT-IR.
