Novel BBL/Graphene composite |

The electrically conductive polybenzimidazobenzophenanthroline (BBL)/graphene composite was made by using graphite oxide (GO) and a reducing agent of sodium borohydride (NaBH4). The GO was well dispersed in methanesulfonicacid (MSA) (a solvent of BBL) to make the BBL/GO solution. Reduction of the GO in the BBL/GO solution was performed with NaBH4 to make the BBL/graphene composite. The electrical conductivity was improved by heat treatment of the BBL/graphene composite film at 300oC. Combination of chemical and thermal reductions gave the best electrical conductivity of the BBL/graphene composite film. Other optical and thermal properties were investigated. |
