Suffering from various environmental problems, solar energy is on the rise. Perovskite solar cells (PSCs) are getting attention because of low process cost and expectation they will catch up with silicon solar cells’ PCE. (~25%) Until now, PSCs which has the highest PCE are using FAPbI3 based materials. However, FAPbI3 is polymorphic material, one of the phase, cubic perovskite (alpha) phase, is suitable for solar cells because of its great photoelectric properties, but the other phase, hexagonal non-perovskite (delta) phase is not due to its bad photoelectric properties. We can make alpha phase FAPbI3 by annealing it at 150°C, but it undergoes the phase transition when it exposed to ambient condition. It is well known that the alpha phase is easily transformed into delta phase at ambient condition, but it has not been clearly defined what is dominant factor to induce such phase transition until now. So, here, we studied the degradation phenomena of FAPbI3. |
