High quantum yield and stable green emission from CsPbBr3 perovskite nanocrystals by trivalent doping |

Lead halide perovskite nanocrystals with formula ABX3 have received much attention due to their excellent optical properties such as stable and narrow emission spectrum with high quantum yield. Most of the current researches focus on halogen exchange to modify the band gap control and enhance the photoluminescence quantum yield (PL QY). In this work, we demonstrate a novel approach for tunable band gap of perovskite by designing doping-trivalent cation perovskite based nanocrystals. Therefore, we have synthesized the partial replacement of Pb with In, Sb and Bi via a LARP method at room temperature. Trivalent elements doped CsPbBr3 nanocrystals enhanced the quantum yield from 81.4% to 91.2% and lifetime is up to 6.9 ns. |
