제목 | A Study on Solvent Resistance of Polyurethane Acrylate Hybrid Emulsion |
초록 | Polyurethane acrylate hybrid emulsions have been widely developed because of its excellent mechanical and chemical properties and its lack of environmental hazard. As a type of environmental friendly material, it will take the place of the organic solvent type polyurethane materials in coating, print, ink, and adhesive industries. In this study polyurethane acrylate hybrid emulsion was synthesized by seeded polymerization. The swelling properties of the polyurethane acrylate hybrid emulsion were studied and compared with those of polyurethane homopolymer, acrylate emulsion and physical blended compositor, respectively. Swelling ratio studies showed that solvent resistance of polyurethane acrylate hybrid emulsion was better than polyurethane homopolymer and acrylate emulsion by organic solvent such as toluene, acetone and ethyl acetate. |
