Using LMWSC, nanoparticles modified with hydrophobic and hydrophilic group were prepared to solve low transfection efficiency and give targeting moiety for delivery of genes into specific cells. As a hydrophobic group, cholesterol (LP-Ch) and artery wall binding peptide (LC-AWBP) was introduced to the position of amine group, which facilitates formation of nanoparticle. In this study, we evaluated in vitro & in vivo transfection efficiency of LMWSC, LP-Ch and LC-AWBP. From these results, gene carrier prepared with LMWSC will be useful for development of targeting gene therapy |
