제목 Mophological, Rheological, and Electrical Properties of PC/MWNT Composites by Melt Mixing
초록 Mophological, rheological and electrical properties of polycarbonate (PC)/ multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWCNT) composites were studied. We prepared three types of MWCNTs by process temperature. The MWCNTs were treated with horn and bath sonication and then PC/MWCNT composites prepared by melt mixing in a twin-screw extruder. The effect of sonication on the electrical, rheological and morphological properties of the PC/MWCNT composites was observed by four-probe method and vector network analyzer, advanced rheometric expansion system, and scanning electron microscopy, respectively. From the results of morphological properties, the sonication treated MWCNT using the horn and bath type was shown to disentangle structure compared to the untreated MWCNT. The electrical conductivity and electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding efficiency showed higher values for horn and bath type sonicated PC/MWCNT composites than untreated.
