제목 White polymeric light-emitting diodes based on polymer-small molecule blends.
초록 We have fabricated white polymeric light-emitting diode (WPLED) based on poly(phenyl-9,9-dihexyl-9',9'-dihexanenitrile) fluorene (PPFHC6N) and blend of the PPFHC6N and N,N’-di-1-naphuleyl-n,n’-diphenyl-1,1’-biphenyl-4,4’-diamine (α-NPD) each doped by poly[2-methoxy-5-(2-ethylhexyl-oxy)-1,4-phenylene-vinylene] (MEH-PPV). Electroluminescence (EL) data shows that the WPLED with a blend of PPFHC6N and α-NPD doped by 0.38 wt.% of MEH-PPV (referred to as the blend-WPLED) emits white light with maximum luminance of 600 cd/m2 at an applied voltage of 11 V while the WPLED with a pure PPFHC6N with same doping concentration of the MEH-PPV (referred to as the PPFHC6N-WPLED) emits white only 300 cd/m2 at the same applied voltage. Moreover the blend-WPLED has a stable white EL spectrum from the changing of the applied voltage up to 11 V while the PPFHC6N-WPLED changes the color to the green beyond the 8 V.
