제목 ROS sensitive PPADT-PEG Block Copolymers for Drug Delivery
초록 To deliver siRNA to the reactive oxygen species (ROS)-rich inflamed intestinal tissue, poly-(1,4-phenyleneacetone dimethylene thioketal) (PPADT) has been reported to protect siRNA from the low pH of the gastrointestinal tract and to ensure its targeted delivery (Nature Materials, (2010) 9, 923-928). In this poster, the molecular mass and polydispersity of PPADT can be fine-tuned by the ratio of p-toluenesulphonic acid (PTSA; catalyst) to monomers and the ratio of monomers with respective to each other (i.e. DMP:BDT). PPADT of different molecular masses were subsequent conjugated with PEGs to prepared PPADT-PEG block copolymers with various hydrophobic to hydrophilic ratios, which may affect the degradation behaviors of the PPADT-PEG micelles.
