제목 Fully Crosslinked Polydivinylbenzene Microspheres by Dispersion Polymerization with Poly(styrene-b-4-vinylpyridine) as a Stabilizer
초록 The fully crosslinked polydivinylbenzene microspheres were produced by the dispersion polymerization using poly(styrene-b-4-vinylpyridine) as the stabilizer under various polymerization conditions. The block copolymer (stabilizer) was synthesized by a reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) method. Stable microspheres are made of homoaggregation (involving particles of the same type). The morphology of particle was verified using SEM and TEM. The surface morphology can be tuned by controlling the degree of block copolymer concentration, solvent and cosolvent. These microspheres crosslinked structure and highly enhanced thermal stability were verified using DSC and TGA. The glass transition temperatures region was not observed and the enhancements of the thermal stability are observed due to cross linking.
