Fabrication and characterization of epoxy/multi-walled carbon nanotubes composites by gamma ray irradiation |
초록 |
Epoxy resins are widely used as matrix material in advanced polymeric composites because of their high performance including good thermal and mechanical properties. And carbon nanotubes are used to polymer composites, due to their high stiffness and high strength. In this study, the effect of a gamma ray irradiation and a multi-walled carbon nanotubes as a reinforcement on the curing of epoxy resins was investigated. The thermal and dynamic mechanical properties of irradiated epoxy/multi-walled carbon nanotubes were characterized using DMA and TGA. |
