Silica affected the physical properties of rubber compound and adhesion properties. Upon loading silica in rubber compounds, the cure rate decreased and torque and modulus decreased also. The suppression of excessive formation of copper sulfide at adhesion interface upon loading of silica, stablize adhesion layer and enhanced the adhesion properties. Since zinc sulfide formation was promoted in loaded silica, stability of adhesion interface increased and the promotion effect of adhesion durabilty was shown.
