Anthracene as a special and efficient π-center for the two-photon chromophores has been demonstrated by several groups. The anthracene unit could be in principle linked in two different ways, 9,10- or 2,6-linkages, to form two different conjugation pathways with two different quinoid characters. As a sequence, the electronic and photonic properties of anthracene-centered conjugated molecules are highly dependent on both the nature of the active building blocks and the way in which they are linked. In this study, we synthesized CT-type low band gap polymer using Anthracene based on 2,6-linked to enhance polymer planarity and charge carrier mobility. The synthesized polymers are showed physical, optical, electrochemical and photovoltaic properties. |
