제목 The synthesis and characterization of A-b-B-g-C type block copolymers via combination of RAFT and ATRP
초록 A-b-B-g-C type comb-coil block copolymers(CCBCP) has attracted recent attention because of their interesting microphase separation abilities in two length scale. In this study, PEO-b-PBPEA-g-PS was synthesized by combination of reversible addition-fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) polymerization and atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP). Use of a synthesized chain transfer agent consisting of a PEO segment in the polymerization of BPEA readily yielded a diblock copolymer consisting of initiating sties for ATRP on the specific block. Grafting of polystyrene was conducted via ATRP to produce the desired architecture. Phase separation behavior of the polymers was investigated by AFM.
