Protophophyrin IX-containing hydrophobically modified glycol chitosan nanoparticles for effective photodynamic therapy |
초록 |
Photodynamic therapy is treatement using photosensitizers that generate reactive oxygen species (ROS). To increase cancer targeting and reduce photosensitizer’s toxicity, we used hydrophobically modified glycol chitosan loaded and protoporphyrin IX (PpIX-HGC), photosensitizer. photodynamic effect of PpIX-HGC was confirmed by cell apoptosis and animal test. After cells uptake PPIX-HGC, were irradiated with a 633 nm laser source (He-Ne laser). Cells were induced apoptosis. In animal test, PpIX-10wt%-HGC nanoparticles were injected via a tail vein. After 24 h post-injection, solid tumors were irradiated with a 633 nm laser source (He-Ne laser 3 mW /cm2) for 1 h. Then, we monitored the induction of necrosis or apoptosis in solid tumor of mice. |
