Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), a type of porous hybrid organic-inorganic microporous materials, are typically characterized by high surface areas, uniform and nanostructured cavities and exceptional adsorptive capacities. These characteristics make them promising for application in catalysts and adsorbents materials. For industrial scale production, MOF has generally produced by using batch reactor via hydrothermal method, which it takes long time (12~24 h) to crystallize under high temperature and pressure conditions. Thus, time and cost efficient production method is required for the scale-up production of MOFs. Here, we synthesized iron trimesate (Fe3BTC2) porous powders with high surface area and micropores by using continuous flow synthesis method. |
