제목 Dissolution properties of serpentine used mineral carbonation for CO2 sequestration in reduced electrolysis water
초록 Carbon dioxide generated by combustion process is known to greenhouse gas. Carbon dioxide sequestration is indispensable to decrease to environment pollution and mineral carbonation is one of the feasible process for carbon dioxide sequestration. Magnesium is known to a proper element for mineral carbonation by chemical method.
A reduced electrolysis water with higher solubility than distilled water was selected as a solvent in this study.
Physicochemical changes of a serpentine powder and a resulted solution was evaluated in detail. Elemental concentration, chemical structure changes and crystallographic variations were analyzed by ICP, FT-IR and XRD.
