제목 Facile Synthesis and Self-Assembly of A2B Miktoarm Star Copolymer of Poly(3-dodecxylthiophene) and Poly(methyl methacrylate)
초록 The self-assembly of poly(3-alkylthiopehen) (P3AT) containing block copolymer is determined by the balance of the crystallinity of P3AT and the Flory-Huggins interaction between blocks. Poly(3-dodecylthiophene)-b-poly(methyl methacrylate) diblock copolymer (P3DDT-b-PMMA) can self-assembled into sphere, cylinder, lamellae and fibril depending on volume fraction of P3DDT. However, cylindrical morphology with P3DDT matrix were not observed. Here, we suggested new approach to obtain cylindrical morphology with P3DDT matrix, which is very important to real application, using miktoarm star copolymer. First, well-defined A2B miktoarm star copolymer composed of P3DDT and PMMA ((P3DDT)2PMMA) was synthesized by using click reaction. Then, column chromatography was conducted to get pure (P3DDT)2PMMA. The morphologies of the (P3DDT)2PMMA were studied via small angle X-ray scattering and transmission electron microscopy.
