제목 | The Study of Thermal and Electrical Property Change of Liquid Crystalline Polymerby Thermal Induced Crystallization |
초록 | Liquid crystalline polymers (LCPs) are attracted in the rapidly advancing circuit board as a next-generation product due to their good properties, such as high strength, dimensional stability, low CTE, water absorption, and low dielectric constant.1 Prior to practical usage of the LCP materials, annealing near the melting point is occasionally applied to improve their physical properties, depending on the purpose for its usage.2 In this work, the effects of thermal treatments on thermal and electrical properties of LCP films are investigated in terms of treatment temperature. As results, XRD thermograms showed that crystallinity of thermally treated LCP is increased. Also, Tg and Tm are dramatically increased after thermal treatments. These are probably due to the increasement of crystallinity, which lead to the LCP structure much denser, well-ordered material. In the case of quality factor (Q), the electrical property of thermally treated LCPs is increased with increasing treatment temperature, dielectric constants, however, is not largely different in treatment temperature. Thermal conductivity is reduced by thermal treatment. 참고문헌 1. A. Donald, A. Windle, Liquid Crystalline Polymers, Cambridge University Press, Cambridge, 1995. 2. Y.C. Kim, J.
