Semiconducting copper sulphide(CuxS) thin layers on the surface of polyacrylonitrile(PAN) film were deposited using chemical solution deposition technique. The preparative conditions such as concentration, pH, temperature, and reaction times etc. were optimized to get CuxS thin layers on the PAN films. The structural, surface morphological, compositional, optical and electrical characterization of CuxS thin layers were determinated with help of X-ray diffraction(XRD), scanning electron microscopy(SEM), energy dispersive X-ray(EDX) , optical absorbance/transmittance, and electrical resistivity studies. |
