제목 Characterization of Electrically Actuated Alginate/Poly(vinyl alcohol) Blend Film
초록 Alginate (Alg) is a natural ionic polymer including numerous anionic groups and can be actuated by the ionic group under the electric field. Also, polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) has the inherent properties of being biocompatible and nontoxic.
In this study, to improve electric behavior and physical property in the electric field, Alg was blended with PVA used in the biocompatible material. Thermal and morphological properties of Alg/PVA blends were investigated by differential calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA), and scanning electron microscope (SEM). Physical properties of the blends were measured by texture analyzer (TA). According to the blends ratio, the blend film was compared with the original film. electroactive properties under the electric field and stabilities in the various buffer solution were studied.
