The increased electric load of the nation has resulted in grid expansion. This has led to a number of growing challenges such as balancing economic and commercial viability with carbon emissions as well as environmental sustainability. ESSs for large-scale grid systems and next generation secondary battery systems require an ideal device that satisfies diverse properties such as a high energy density, high power density, low cost, and safe and reliable performance. Until now, there have been no fully commercialized devices for large-scale energy storage systems, which require the excellent characteristics such as a high energy density, high power density, low cost, and safe and reliable performance. In this study, we present lithium-sulfur battery system, which is comprised of inorganic materials, such as electrode and separator, for next generation energy storage system. |
