Mussel-inspired Chemistry for Gold-PCL Hybrid Nanostructures |
초록 |
Polydopamine (pD) coating based on mussel-inspired chemistry is a facile method to functionalize surfaces of electrospun poly (e-caprolactone) (PCL) nanofibers for the synthesis of noble metal-PCL hybrid nanostructures. The pD layer is coated on the PCL nanofibers through the oxidative polymerization of catecholamines (dopamines) in a basic aqueous condition. The generated pD layer can mediate the spontaneous reduction of gold precursor ions to the metal-polymer hybrid nanostructures with a high surface-to-volume ratio. We examine the prepared gold-PCL hybrid nanostructures as a catalyst for the reduction of the 4-nitrophenol. |
