Various polymer materials have been investigated in order to enhance the photovoltaic efficiency by reducing the band gap and increasing charge carrier mobility. Phthalimide-bithiophene based polymer has high field-effect mobility 0.28 cm2/Vs.Especially, phthalimides are attractive for electron-accepting comonomers due to their extremely facile synthesis and readily varied substitution at the imide nitrogen which is allowing manipulation of polymer solubility, Π-Π* stacking, and morphology. So in this study, we synthesized silafluorene-phthalimide based CT type copolymer using suzuki coupling reaction and showed photovoltaic property. |
