Over the past decade, polymer solar cells (PSCs) have drawn a great deal of attention as a promising energy source because of light weight, low cost, solution process. To achieve high efficiency PSCs, it is of importance to modulate the molecular structure of conjugated polymers. As a donor unit, dibenzosilole derivative has shown good hole mobility and thermal stability. Quinoxalne derivative is proved to have low band gap as an acceptor unit. In this study, the resulting polymers were synthesized via Suzuki coupling reactions and investigated in terms of physical, electrochemical and optical properties, etc. |
