Polyvinyl acetate/Nickel titanium oxide nanofibres by electrospinning |

Poly(vinyl acetate) (PVAc)/Nickel titanium oxide composite nanofibres with 300-400 nm diameter were prepared by sol-gel processing and electrospinning technique. The electrospun organic/inorganic composite fibres were calcinated at high temperatures to yield rhombohedral nickel titanium oxide nanofibres with 150 ∼ 200 nm diameter. Structural, morphological and crystalline phase features of electrospun PVAc/NiTiO3 fibres were studied by SEM, AFM, XRD and FT-IR. The fibrous nature of nickel tiatanium oxide was stable even after calcination at 1000℃. |
