제목 Preparation and Characterization of Antibiotic-loaded Collagen Film using SIS Powder for Wound Healing
초록 Collagen films prepared by treating collagen gel solutions with different concentrations of glutaraldehyde were evaluated as a biodegradable and biocompatible drug carrier for wound healing agent in this study. Collagen gel from SIS powder due to growth factor in the SIS expected to be able to induce tissue repair and stimulate cells to synthesize DNA and proliferate. The influences of concentration of glutaraldehyde (0-0.3%) with a fixed concentration of collagen on the crosslinking rate of collagen gel solutions. In addition, the influences of the addition of antibiotic drus, gentamicin sulfate (GS) on viscosity changes of collagen gel solutions were compared. Collagen films perpared from those gel solutions crosslinked with different concentrations of glutaraldehyde. The diffusion characteristics of antibiotic loaded collagen film were assessed using a flow-through diffusion system. Release amount of GS were analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and the released GS activity was observed by microbiological assay using Staphylococcus aureus.
