| 제목 | Extraction and Identification of the Growth Factorsfrom Porcine Small Intestinal Submucosa (SIS) |
| 초록 | The selected submucosal layers of porcine small intestine induce site-specific tissue remodeling when used as a biomaterial for tissue replacement. Small intestinal submucosa (SIS), as isolated, is primarily and acellular extracellular matrix material. In order to discover the components of SIS able to induce such tissue remodeling, we extracted some materials from SIS using urea and guanidine and the solubilized extracts were then reconstituted with the residue by dialysis against water. Also, cell-stimulating activities of proteins extracted from SIS were measured by alamar Blue dye reduction and [3H]-thymidine incorporation to assay the cell proliferation and a DNA synthesis respectively. Identification of each extracts of SIS elucidated the mechanisms by which this extracellular matrix biomaterial modulates wound healing and tissue remodeling.
