Triarylamine derivatives have attracted considerable interest due to their hgh hole mobility that is necessary for hole transporting materials in electronic devices. However, narrow absorption of solar spectrum limits their application to the p-type polymers. To overcome this limitation, we incorporated alkoxy group containg naphthalene unit into the triarylamine derivative and triarylamine based conjugated polymers were synthesized through Suzuki coupling reaction. Details of the synthesis and properties of the polymer will be presented. |
