제목 Synthesis and Characterization of Hydrophobic-Hydrophilic Multiblock Copolymers based on Sulfonated Poly(arylene ether sulfone) for Proton Exchange Membrane
초록 Multi-block copolymers of sulfonated poly(arylene ether sulfone)with different block legth were synthesized. 19F and 1H NMR were used to characterize the oligomers’ molecular weights and copolymers structure. The morphologies of copolymers membranes were also investigated byatomic force microscopy(AFM), it showed the distinct phase separation. The effect of the copolymer was investigated in terms of proton conductivity, water uptake, methanol permeability, and fuel cell performance. As a part of results, the copolymers showedlower water uptake andmethanol permeability than Nafion, while proton conductivity was maintained.
