Electronic devices were minimized rapidly, changing from the micrometer scale to nanometer scale. So it is very important role of nanoelectronics that one-dimensional nanostructures, such as nanorods, nanowires and nanotubes, are ideal building blocks. Template assisted to make nanostructures is very attractive method because the diameter and length of nanorods can be controlled using various size of AAO nanotemplates. In this study, we fabricated arrays of copper nanorods using electrochemical deposition of copper in AAO nanotemplates which were obtained by general 2nd anodizing method. When copper was deposited electrochemically, aluminum substrates of AAO templates were used the counter electrode by removing the barrier layer using KCl solution. The structure and morphology of the copper nanorods arrays were studied using X-ray diffraction, scanning electron microscopy. |
