Liposome are tiny spherules containing concentric aqueous compartments separated from the external aqueous environment, by closed bilayers of amphipathic lipids. Noble metal nanoparticles recently attracted attentions in the fields of food, drug, and cosmetic industries. In this thesis, siliver nanoparticles dispersed in toluene, gold nanoparticles dispersed in water were respectively loaded in the dipalmitoylphosphatidylcholine (DPPC) liposome. The cell related functions depend on the fluidity of the lipid bilayer. The results showed that the membrane fluidity of the polar region and the interior central region of the DPPC bilayer could be controlled by the loading amounts of each noble metal nanoparticles. The prepared liposomes were examined for the complete removal of organic solvents with gas chomatography mass spectrometry. |
