Effect of hard- and flexible-backboned prepolymers on the photopolymerization kinetics of a methacrylate resin |
초록 |
The effect of hard- and flexible-backboned urethane methacrylate prepolymers on the UV photopolymerization kinetics of a methacrylate resin has been studied. The mechanical properties can be tuned by combining the flexibility of aliphatic-backboned urethane methacrylate prepolymer with the hardness of both highly crosslinked acrylates and aromatic-backboned epoxy/urethane methacrylate prepolymers. An increase in flexible-backboned prepolymer content caused a increase in both photopolymerization rates and final conversions. Tuning of mixing ratio between crosslinkable acrylate and aromatic-backboned prepolymer should be required to achieve the proper mechanical properties. |
