In this study, the physical and chemical characteristics of the rubber blend of FKM and HNBR depending on the blend ratio were investigated for the purpose of the improvement of thermal resistance and low-temperature resistance. In the physical characteristics, the blended material of FKM anf HNBR showed better results than the 100phr material of HNBR in terms of heat, oil and fuel resistances. By adding phase-desolving agent(KBM503) to the blended material, great improvements in basic physical properties as well as SEM image were achieved. In the chemical characteristics, TGA results showed an improved heat resistance for the blended material than HNBR. |
