제목 Thermal and Mechanical Properties of m-MMT / Polyethersulfone Nanocomposite
초록 In this study, we prepared the nanocomposite based on polyethersulfone and modified montmorillonite(m-MMT) which was synthesized via ion exchange reaction between di- or tri-aromatic ammonium hydrochloride salt and Na-MMT. The gallery spacing of m-MMT was able to control by the number of aromatic ring of the swelling agent and was identified by the X-ray diffraction. The thermal and mechanical properties of m-MMT/polyethersulfone nanocomposite were investigated.
The structure of polymer nanocomposite was characterized by the transmission electron microscope(TEM) and X-ray diffractometer(XRD). The tensile property was measured by UTM. DSC, TGA and DMA experiment revealed the fundamental thermal properties of nanocomposites. And also, we investigated the possibility of the potential applications as flexible substrate for LCD or OLED.
