제목 Structural Characterization of Novel Alkylsulfonic Acid-doped Polyaniline/Layered Silicate Nanocomposites
초록 A great deal of research on the conducting polymer/inorganic clay nanocomposites, particularly composed of polyaniline (PANI) and inorganic clay, has been carried out. However, in the case of the PANI/inorganic clay nanocomposites prepared so far, most of the PANI chains in the nanocomposites are doped with hydrochloric acid (HCl) and few study has focused on the effect of different types of dopants such as dodecylbenzenesulfonic acid (DBSA) on the characteristic properties in PANI/inorganic clay nanocomposites.
In present study, we investigated structural variation such as the interlayer spacing of DBSA-doped PANI/organically modified layered silicate (OLS) nanocomposites upon the addition of DBSA into the reaction medium containing aniline monomer. The effect of the structural variation on physical properties such as electrical, mechanical and thermal properties will also be addressed.
