제목 Anionic Polymerization of 2-(4-vinylphenyl)pyridine
초록 The new monomer, 2-(4-vinylphenyl)pyridine, was synthesized by Suzuki coupling reaction. The synthesized monomer was characterized by 1H, 13C NMR, FT-IR, and DSC. It is a styrene derivative having pyridine as donating group at para-position of styrene. This donating group interrupt to polymerize anionically monomers substituted donating group so that it is difficult to polymerize the monomer having donating group at para-position of styrene. The poly(2-(4-vinylphenyl)pyridine) with desirable molecular weight and molecular weight distribution was obtained via anionic polymerization. For the anionic polymerization of 2-(4-vinylphenyl)pyridine, various initiators and solvents and different time, as well as dibutylmagnesium as an additive were used to investigate optimum condition. The polymers were characterized by 1H, 13C NMR, FT-IR, GPC, TGA, and DSC.
