제목 | Complexation Behavior of galactaric acid and metal in the presence of ethylene glycol |
초록 | Galactaric acid, which exists in mucus, exhibits properties of both carboxylic acid and carbohydrate. It plays an important role in the life sciences, biochemistry, pharmaceuticals, etc. In order to understand the function of galactaric acid, it is helpful to investigate the interaction between galactaric acid and metal. This study aimed at elucidating the complexation behavior of galactaric acid and metal particularly in the presence of ethylene glycol. The discussion was focused on the crystallization behavior evidenced by X-ray diffractiometry and FT-IR spectroscopy. |
