Ti3C2 MXene shows excellent electrical conductivity, enabling various applications such as electrodes as supercapacitor and electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding. However, due to the facile oxidation tendency of pristine MXene, surface functionalization of MXene is required to enhance both dispersion stability in organic media and preserve high electrical conductivity. Among various organic ligands, urushiols, naturally occurring catecholic compounds, can produce organic MXene inks with high organic dispersion stability and electrical conductivity. Urushiol-based organic Ti3C2 MXene inks are very promising as the facile mass production of organic MXene inks is enabled with urushiol as organic ligands. This work was carried out with the support of the Korea Institute of Technology (KIAT) subsidy (P0008500, Industrial Expert Competency Development Program) supported by the Korean government. |
