제목 Effect on fracture toughness of basalt fiber-reinforced composites with graphene oxide.
초록 In this study, graphene oxide (GO)/basalt fibers/epoxy composites were prepared and the content of GO was varied from 0 wt% to 2 wt%, and fracture toughness were observed. The fracture toughness (KIC) of the composites was measured with a Universal Testing Machine (UTM, Lloyd-instruments Co, Lloyd LR5k, USA) using a three-point bending tests in accordance with ASTM E-399. Experimental results show that the GO is an important factor for determining the fracture toughness. The GO particles improved fracture toughness by performing a crack pinning role in the epoxy matrix.
