Evaluation of In Vitro Release profiles of Valsartan-Loaded PLGA Microspheres by different Preparation Methods |
초록 |
Valsartan, a selective angiotensin Ⅱ type 1 receptor(AT1R) antagonist, has high bioavailability. Poly(L-lactide-co-glycolide)(PLGA) has been widely used as a carrier in controlled-release delivery systems because of good biodegradability and relatively high biocompatibility. In this study, We developed PLGA microspheres loaded with valsartan by varying PLGA molecular weight, preparation method and Poly(vinyl alcohol)(PVA) contents. Physicochemical properties and morphology of valsartan-loaded PLGA microspheres were investigated by scanning electron microscope(SEM), fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR), X-ray diffraction(XRD) and differential scanning calorimeter(DSC). The influence of preparation parameters was studied with respect to release of valsartan. These results showed that the release behaviors can be effectively controlled by the preparation conditions |
