The photoresponsive hydrogels containing azobenzene salt monomer were designed and prepared by photopolymerization method. Photoisomeriation behavior of azobenzene salt monomer(ASM) was monitored by UV-visible spectroscopy. In addition, swelling properties and release behaviors were investigated by swelling kinetics and drug release with Rivavirin as model drugs. After swelling ratio(SR) reached constant, with the light irradiation, SR of photoresponsive hydrogels containing ASM was declined obviously. The results of SR and release properties were strongly affected by the concentration of ASM and the interior morphology of hydrogel. |
