제목 Synthesis and characterization of thieno[3,2-b]thiophene-based polymer derivatives
초록 Thieno[3,2-b]thiophene seems to be advantageous with respect to oxidation-resistance and planarity. We attempted to synthesize a thieno[3,2-b]thiophene-based low band gap polymer via decarboxylation coupling reaction. The resulting polymer was characterized by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), cyclic voltametry, UV-vis spectroscopy, and fluorescence spectroscopy. Energy levels of the HOMO and LUMO of the polymer were also estimated. The polymer blends with PCBM were employed in fabrication of bulk-heterojunction photovoltaic devices. The experimental results will be presented in detail.
